In with the new.
Hi dedicated Julian/Wikileaks supporters - it is I, your wayward Tumblr runnererer …
As the title suggests, this won’t be a conventional post. I think it’s become pretty clear that I am no longer able to do this place justice. Ideally what I would like to do is select a suitable cadidate to run this place whilst I observe from the sidelines, with a view to ultimately handing over the Tumblr to The Chosen One if all goes well.
If you are interested in this position please message me with a little about yourself and why you would make an ideal person to keep the community active and relevant. Preference will be given to long-term community participants, so please be clear about who you are.

British Supreme Court to Announce JA Ruling
In less than two hours the British Supreme Court will hand down its final decision in the Assange Vs Sweden case. You can watch the verdict delivered live here.
Livetweeters include @proferssorsblogg @estherraddley @issylvia @wl_central_live @wlgrandjury. Hashtag is #UKSC.
Remember, wherever Assange goes, so does your freedom. Keep fighting, no matter what the outcome, against injustice and for freedom of speech. Find a rally in your area and let the world know we will not let our freedoms slip away quietly.
Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence and thereby eventually lose all ability to defend ourselves and those we love. - Julian Assange

The EAW Vs JA - The Final Showdown.
I Julian is currently appearing at the Supreme Court of England for his final appeal against extradition to Sweden for questioning under the oppressive European Arrest Warant system.
The trial will run for two days, today, the 1st of February to tomorrow, the 2nd of February. The outcome of this trial could be dire for Julian, as outlined by his mother Christine Assange in the below video.Watch the trial live here.
Julian Assange, aside from his wild sexual appeal, has become not just a man, but a symbol of freedom, democracy and justice. His fate, like our freedom is our responsibility. Whatever the outcome, we will continue to fight for justice, not just for Julian, but for those oppressed by the web of power and corruption that has become our world.Posted on February 1, 2012 with 7 notes ()
